Our commitment
Simpler Ledger is committed to making its website and application usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build — not a one-time project.
Measures we take
- Keyboard operability for interactive controls, including dialogs that can be dismissed with the Escape key
- Screen-reader support: labeled controls, dialog semantics, and announcement of form errors and status messages
- Sufficient color contrast for text and controls
- Support for both light and dark color schemes and for standard browser zoom
- Accessibility review as part of our development process for new features
Known limitations
Some charts and data visualizations are primarily visual; the underlying figures are available in accompanying tables and CSV exports. We are working to improve non-visual access to these views. Third-party services embedded in the app (such as bank connection and payment flows) are provided by vendors and may vary in their accessibility support.
Feedback and accommodation
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere in Simpler Ledger, or need an accommodation to use any part of the service, please email support@simplerledger.com. Include the page and what you were trying to do. We aim to respond within two business days and to resolve barriers promptly.
